Appearance

West African Iroko is an incredibly durable timber, with colours ranging from golden-yellow to chocolate-brown even within the same board. Iroko Timber is imported at FAS PHND (Pin hole no defect) grade, mainly kiln dried. Iroko timber is commonly used as a cheaper alternative to Teak - they are very similar in density, grain structure and colour after ageing.
